Keeping Up with Paul's Pace ~ September 2004

Hey everybody,

Hope your summer was a blast. I've had so much fun traveling around and meeting new people. As a matter of fact, this has been one of the most enjoyable summers yet for me. I've been to Las Vegas, co-hosted a couple of Highway 23 Jamborees, wrote my first gospel song, and don't even get me started about my trip to New Orleans...

OK, OK, I'll tell you about New Orleans. I've Known Darren and June at the Cajun Kitchen for several years and they keep telling me I should visit New Orleans sometime. They are originally from there and they were right. I got to go with Darren to the Boat Blessing that they have every year and it WAS truly a blessing. This was one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. Thanks to Doogie and all the folks at Robin Seafood Co. for allowing me to be a part of it and for serving me the freshest oysters and shrimp I've ever had. YUM!! I can't wait to go back. Thanks to "Apple" for letting me drive the boat up the channel that night and Captain Ron for telling me about the red lights and green lights (How many green lights am I supposed to see??) What a wonderful experience.

Keep the E-mails coming. I read every one. I'm sorry I don't get a chance to respond much but knowing I still have friends (I don't call you guys fans, I consider you friends) makes this crazy thing I do for a living seem all the more worthwhile. I hope to see you sometime this fall.

May GOD bless you in every way,
Paul Pace
