Keeping Up with Paul's Pace ~ June 2004 Hey everybody, Hope everyone has had a good start with the summer. I just finished up with Fan Fair Week (or the CMA Music Festival as the kids are calling it these days), and I had such a great time. Thanks to those of you who came to Rippy's to see the show. We also did a show over at Tootsie's in the back room, and Miss Brittany Roe and I had a ball. It was a long, but very, very enjoyable week for me. Went to Vegas! Loved it! I got to do a show at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino during the Academy of Country Music Awards week, and we had a big time. It was good to meet all the new people in Las Vegas, and I hope to be back out there soon. One interesting note about my trip--I met a man who came up to me and said, "Are you Paul Pace?" "Yes," I replied. He said, "I think we'll stick around for your show because we saw the sign out front with your name on it." Then I responded with, "YOU want to see my show just because you saw MY name on the marquee?" "Yes," the man said with a grin. "We are out here for the ACM awards show and saw your name, and now we want to see YOUR show." I said, "That would great. It is good to meet you. What is your name, sir?" "Paul Pace," he said. Who knew? I have to say, I really enjoy the fan stories, and I go back and read them over and over and over. Keep them coming. I've got some cool things in the works for us this fall. And we will be adding some new features in the coming months. Stay in touch! I've got some new stuff in the works. My new project is in the home stretch of getting finished up, and it sounds great!
